PRE-SEASON JAMBOREE RULES

1) All teams have four games, please make note of them on the schedule

2) Games will be 10 minutes, running clock

3) One, twenty second time out per team per game

4) Substitution may occur any time your team is on offense, ball must be checked in after substitution

5) No free throws, on non-shooting personal fouls the ball goes to the team fouled

6) Shooting fouls are two points (or three points) to the offense, ball to the defense

7) There are no overtimes

8) There will only be one official on the floor during the jamboree

9) No book will be kept; only final score will be logged for scheduling purposes

Coaches, please make sure your players clean the benches of all debris after the game. Also do to the tight schedule please have them ready to play so we can remain on time.

Also, remember that we are using this Jamboree as a tool to schedule teams of like caliber during the upcoming season.  We will ask each team to rate their competition and also rate their own team basis the other four that they play.  It is not a full proof method but in the past it has helped us to assemble a more balanced schedule during the season, when we get to the season ending tournaments, they will be divided strictly by grade level.
